Francisco Colón Ramírez

Francisco brings more than thirty years of legal practice in Puerto Rico, offering deep experience across complex litigation, regulatory matters, and general legal practice. His work spans advising businesses and individuals on day-to-day legal issues, risk management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution, providing clients with practical guidance grounded in decades of local experience.

He specializes in professional liability, hotel liability, product and medical device liability, aviation, medical malpractice, class action litigation, directors' and officers' liability, and insurance matters, including regulatory and coverage issues. Francisco has tried more than ten cases to verdict in federal court with favorable outcomes and has successfully defended every appeal before the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his litigation practice, Francisco regularly appears before administrative agencies of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, including the Telecommunications Board and the Office of the Insurance Commissioner, representing clients in regulatory, licensing, and enforcement matters.
